Subea day

Cleaning the seabed in Hendaye
For the reopening of the team diving season on April 7th of this year, Subea, accompanied by its technical partner and diving club PlanetOcean, went to collect waste from the seabed of the Baie des Cochons in Hendaye.A great occasion to enjoy our sport while helping to clean our environment!
Our technical partner planetocean, a member of "project aware"
"Project Aware" was created by PADI to help preserve the oceans through the involvement and commitment of divers from all over the world. Waste collection, protection of underwater animals etc… All of these projects are intended to preserve this environment that's so dear to us but under threat…~
Our technical partner and “Project Aware” member, the PlanetOcean diving club, regularly organises diving trips in order to collect waste and thus to clean the seabeds, which are, unfortunately, increasingly polluted!
This is far too much waste, of course, but above all, it helps us to realise that the marine environment is threatened and that we must preserve it instead of polluting it! It was a wonderful initiative that PlanetOcean organised for this first outing of the year. The Subea team is happy and proud to have been able to take part in this project while helping to safeguard our oceans!!
I'm the Dialogue Leader for the Subea brand. My father, a PADI Divemaster, infected me with the diving virus when I was 8 years old, and scuba diving has been my a passion since then. Today, I have my PADI Rescue certification.
