Replacing your Easybreath mask snorkel will only take a few minutes and does not require tools. You can acquire a new snorkel on the Decathlon website. When you attach the snorkel, check that there is no sand at the connection point between snorkel and mask. This super-tight connection guarantees perfect water-tightness. Don't force it if you're having trouble attaching: this likely means there is sand there. Take the time to rinse the mask and snorkel well before trying again.
The valves of your Easybreath mask need to be in good condition to ensure easy breathing when snorkelling! The same goes for the cover at the bottom of the mask. It should be undamaged to guarantee your mask is as watertight as possible. This step allows you to replace old valves with new ones. Same for the cover. To do this, you'll just need a pair of scissors, and the new valves and new cover. It will only take a couple of minutes. To remove the cover, pull it back gently so as not to break the small hooks situated at each side. When changing the valve under the cover, you should cut the stem of the new valve in half so that it doesn't protrude.
The straps of your Easybreath mask can wear down quickly if not correctly maintained. Sunlight or even salt can damage them. Which is why it's important to rinse your mask off well after each use, to reduce wear on the straps. Remember, the straps are designed to guarantee maximum water-tightness, so don't neglect them! If you want to change them, you'll just need a pair of scissors and a few minutes. You can acquire new straps, available in an array of colours, on the Decathlon website. The old straps should be cut to make them easier to remove.
