I joined Decathlon in 1992. I first tried snorkeling when I was 7, and I got completely hooked. I did my first scuba dive and started training at the age of 15. I now have my FFESSM (French Federation of Undersea Studies and Sports) level 2 certification.
I went back to Tribord in 2006 before joining Subea a year ago, as head of the supply team. I run the entire supply team, that includes Nicolas, Edurne and Angeline, covering all product families in the Subea world: snorkeling, spearfishing, scuba diving and freediving. The idea is to have the right inventory at the right time and at the right place for all diving products. Our job is to manage production supply until it reaches the warehouse and the actual store.
What I really like about scuba diving is the feeling of weightlessness. When I was younger, I was particularly attracted to the technical side of diving equipment, but with age, it has become a constraint and today, when I dive, I mainly explore, check out the seabed and underwater life in general.
My best memory is from my 40th birthday when my wife took me to the Maldives and it was my first time diving there. She had obtained her PADI Open Water certification just before we left and we dived together for a week in that amazing place, without instructors. It was a really wonderful surprise. A great experience!
