For use exclusively on the surface and if you wish to breathe simultaneously through your nose and mouth, our Subea innovation, the Easybreath mask, is perfect for you. If not, then a single or dual window mask will be perfectly suitable for your snorkeling.

SCUBA DIVING MASK

Scuba diving masks can be used for both snorkeling and actual diving as well as for leisure freediving. They should provide you with a wide field of vision and ensure a good seal.

MASK FOR SPEARFISHING AND FREEDIVING

Masks intended for spearfishing and pure freediving are smaller in volume in order to limit mask squeeze and air loss. They're also discreet so as not to frighten the underwater fauna.

THE EASYBREATH MASK

Our innovation designed for snorkeling, this mask is intended solely for use on the surface. This full face mask allows you to breath through your mouth and nose, and its 180° panoramic vision gives you perfect visibility.

SINGLE-WINDOW MASKS

This type of mask offers a more open field of vision. Some masks have a silicon strap that serves to keep the mask in place more securely, while others have a textile strap that doesn't get tangled in the hair, which is better for people with long hair. There are two types of glass: polycarbonate glass and tempered glass. The former is unbreakable but it scratches more easily, the latter can avoid major accidents if it breaks as the glass shatters into tiny pieces. Masks also have a skirt that is essential for good sealing. You also have the choice between a dual-material skirt that's supposed to be more comfortable and ensure better sealing and a transparent skirt that reduces the tunnel vision effect that you might sometimes perceive with a black skirt for example. The single-window mask is great for both snorkeling and scuba diving.

DOUBLE-WINDOW MASKS

This type of mask allows you to use prescription lenses if you need to, as opposed to a single-window mask, but you should be aware that it's entirely possible to dive with contact lenses. MASK FOR SPEARFISHING AND FREEDIVING

Masks intended for spearfishing and pure freediving are smaller to limit mask squeeze and air loss. They're often made in a dark colour or have a camouflage patterns to blend in and not scare the underwater wildlife! This type of mask is practically always double-window but there are nevertheless single-window masks for these sports that almost entirely cover your eyes, only letting the retina show, helping you to get close to shy fish.

SIMPLE TESTS FOR FIGURING OUT YOUR SIZE

For comfort in the water, choosing the right mask size is essential.

For the Easybreath snorkeling mask, it's best to try out both sizes in the shop. Which is the right one for you? When the mask is tight on your face and there's no space between the skirt and your chin. Be aware that this mask is only appropriate for children over 10 of age.
To test a classic diving mask, position it on your face without the strap and breath in through your nose: the mask should stay on your face by itself. Then put on the strap and adjust it without tightening too much : it should be possible to release air from the mask. Do you have the right size? Now all you have to do is choose the most comfortable model with the best field of vision.
