10 DIVING SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS FROM DAN EUROPE

DAN Europe (Divers Alert Network Europe) is a non profit-making international medical and research organisation. It is dedicated to divers' health and safety.

As part of developing our regulators and buoyancy compensators, DAN Europe is working with us as specialists and independent consultants during use and practicality tests (Static, Dynamic and Biomechanical Analysis).
DAN Europe is going to share its 10 safety recommendations for scuba diving !

DECOMPRESSION SICKNESS

In the case of suspected decompression sickness, give the victim 100% oxygen immediately using a suitable regulator for as long as necessary. Don't be tempted to perform a recompression procedure in the water.
In France, call the CROSS, on VHF channel 16, that will organise emergency services. Abroad, call DAN Europe that will guide you to the appropriate emergency services.
